Unlike traditional takeaway cups that use petroleum-based plastic linings, these cups feature a lining made from PLA (poly-lactic acid) — a renewable bioplastic derived from corn starch. Both the cup and matching PLA lids are certified compostable and designed to break down in commercial composting facilities, offering a more sustainable solution without compromising convenience.
